Domaine Grisoni

) The vineyards of Domaine Grisoni are located on the slopes that link the lakes of Neuchâtel and Biel, in the foothills of the southern Jura.  The soil is light to medium, limestone, with a mixture of sand, moraines and marly pebbles. Although further south and a little higher, our terroir is geologically similar to that found in Burgundy. It benefits from the proximity of the lakes which are the true temperature regulators.

The Domaine Grisoni cultivates 12 hectares of vines, and buys in the harvest of 8 additional hectares, from various small local winegrowers, true enthusiasts and men of the land, with whom we have held links for generations. The Domaine was built to facilitate the commercial business of the time, very close to the train station.  In the past, some rail tracks would directly run into the domaine!

We cultivate 7 different grape varieties, spread over a dozen different parcels of land. The pinot noir sparkles on limestone soil while the chasselas flourishes on deeper, sandy-clay ground.
